Did you run that woman off the track? ;)

Some nice steeds here, that's for sure

No she'd just walked to the top of the hill and was remounting

NIce pics there chaps, :-).

Funny how most of us have roadies and MTB's.

As they say, 1 in the bush is worth..... haha.

Looks a nice track, and nice bikes all.

The track is in Beazley End near Braintree, sadly not open to the public, if it was I'd ride my MTB there a lot more often, it was a really wet horrible day, I was racing in the male open class of the local MSG series at the time, I had some good results that year and a win at that day after some of the quick boys broke down in the mud.

I've knocked racing on the head now as the expanding family is taking up more time, although I still ride a couple of times a week if I can. I'd class myself as an MTB'er that rides on the road as well. Not into the whole leg shaving thing!!

The wife loves it as when she thinks I've finished buying bike parts more shooting gear turns up

Nice, you based local to Braintree? I'm in Colchester.

I know what you mean, the day I shave my legs for a bike ride I will cut my teste's off too as i mayaswell be a woman.

Yes in Braintree!! I've taken the **** out of my leg shaving mates so much over the years that I would never hear the end of it if I were to shave them now!!

Here is the road bike, lousy picture...

Having had metal bikes I fancied a plastic one so pretty much everything that could be carbon, is.

Frame, fork, steerer, handlebars, brake levers, chainset, seat post, rear mech, even bottle cages

Based on a Kuota Kharma, all Campag groupset, fulcrum wheels and look pedals.

I like the fit of the saddle but wouldn't mind something as comfortable but lighter.

All I need to do is ride it more...

these are mine the Scott was bought in 2010 its used as my get to work bike and green laner lovely to ride :good: I first rode it 2 weeks (yes 2 weeks) after getting my second knee replacement revision and yes it hurt a bit! the road bike whilst not an expensive model certainly shames the old jack taylors I had made for me and used to race in the late 60s early 70s

The single speeder is an old Cannondale Mountain Bike that I converted last year, use it for going into town etc.

The Cannodale Synapse is for eating up a few miles around the lanes.

The Storck was my retirement present to myself last year and get's used on a daily basis for long miles of fitness training.

Hope you like what you see.

Here's my steed - Pashley Speed 5. Like me, not exactly the lightest or most high tech machine, but I love the design and traditional engineering (Reynolds 531 frame, Sturmer Archer hubs) :good: Basically it's a posh pub bike.

Some lovely bikes there gents.

I really feel sorry for those guys out on the Pru London 100 today, it's hissing down and the wind is getting up.

Thinking of you Raja and Beretta and son, it's not going to be nice.

It was wet AND windy, but we coped reasonably well. i managed to finish half a wheel in front of the young un, so claimed a moral victory for the older generation.

In Northumberland now, for grouse tomorrow :-)

I picked up a 56cm Foil frame from Winchester on Saturday afternoon. Bit late getting to bed on Saturday after fitting mud guards to the Giant and building up the Foil. Caught up with my sleep last night tho, out like a light after a curry and a couple beers - think I earned it lol.

Will post pics of the new foil, the Giant and my 29er soon. Might ride the Foil on a 10mile TT on Wednesday - most likely without TT bars though.

I can't see pics of the Storck and others from work, bet it's a beauty though.
