so has wot they've voted for , and if that's an example of the best they've got to represent and run our country , then heaven help us.

What's up JT? So you are happy with the way this coalition government has run things are you? Or maybe is was all those successful years under Blair spending billions we haven't got?

UKIP will freshen up British politics and for the good. If nothing else it will show the other party's they need to actually get their acts together and start delivering or go down the tube. The Tories are ****ting it and just watch the rats jump from a sinking ship.

What do you want UKIP to do that the coalition haven't?

Economy- Can't really do more than has been done, we are going in the right direction and doing better than most of the eurozone- haven't seen much economic policy from Nigel.

Imigration- Agree it needs tightening but needs a structured approach

The EU- I would like to see change, we have been promised a referendum but you can't just walk away from a signed treaty.

You say they need to start delivering- let's have some detail?

Keg - Immigration - all the parties talk about it - only UKIP addresses it directly - is a massive issue.

What is a structured approach? Just another phrase for doing nothing. Shades of Yes Minister - form a committee and forget about it.

Not only do we need to be far more careful who is allowed in, we also need to consider the millions who are here illegally and our almost complete lack of action on removing them. Add to that, the nutcases we allow to claim asylum and there you have it. Total farce.

When the illegals are found, why oh why are they allowed out on bail to disappear yet again?

What i mean by a structured approach is closing down borders where we can but this is also linked into the EU question. Deport those who are here illegally but allow those in with either a genuine need for asylum or those who will add to the economic wellbeing of the country.

The Australian model is a good example.

The bail issue is not just limited to immigrants.

Indeed it isn't!

agree wholeheartedly with tightchoke.

even if illegals are caught nothing happens to them. just told to report on such and such date, do you really think they will.

it's a win win situation once they reach our shores. the lemon who thought up that rule needs a good (must remember women may be reading this forum).

surely the amount of forces people getting their P45s could be used to fill vacancies on our border posts,

seems ukip now say they will do a deal with anyone including labour so it looks like millipede will be pm then wonder where that would leave the eu referendum?

The main thing with Nigel is the EU referendum, he said he would happily sell his soul to the devil to get it.

So if it means the devil is liebour, then that would be part of the deal, (don't think millpede will still be they're leader then)

Think it would be a Tory/UKIP coalition though (hopefully)

Don't worry there's not many things you can say we haven't heard before. :)

Just a thought but could these Tory 'defections' be a planned way of getting on the inside to bring UKIP down from within?

The Tories have the most to lose from UKIP's success, so any tactic to stop it would be their priority.

Maybe in Clacton they know they still have a Tory MP who will follow a Tory agenda, despite the wishes of UKIP.

The video of the Labour mayor in an earlier post also hints at underhand practices.

Mononoia, a bit like paranoia, they are still out to get you but you are the only one that knows about it! :whistling:

Would you put anything past politicians? Seriously??

Noticed no Labour or LibDim conversions.

Just saying :whistling:

If UKIP find themselves in the unenviable position of being in coalition then they will be dead in the air. If it's with the Torys then they will get the referendum (already promised by Camo) but will be seen as good old fashoned euro-sceptic Torys but with no trump card, if they team up with Labour they'd never get the referendum but would be seen as trators by the right.

If there will be another coalition it will be more than likely lib/lab.
