Axe
My favorite subject. Option 1, Toasted Ciabatta spread with Mayonaise and Cracked Pepper, topped with Smoked Bacon, Tomato, Sliced Mozarella (melted under grill) and finished off Rocket & Watercress Salad Leaves. Option 2, Same as above but replace the Bacon with a good Steak (Rib-eye) and the Cheese with Red Onion.

pin
Without a doubt the best sandwich available is called "the Italian Stallion" and is available from "A Touch of Delicacy" in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. Used to order these in when I was contracting for what was then the benefits agency in Longbenton years ago. A selection of fine Italian meats, sausages and cheeses with relishes, mayo and salad. Its massive too, costs about £6.50 and quite probably has the late earl salivating in his grave
