.philmypower.
Thanks, makita are big with the bigger saws 75cc & above but I wouldn't bother with the smaller ones. There a dollar saw, makita bought them

Cranfield
That was an enjoyable watch, most impressive. Being another one that doesn't like heights, or dangling on ropes, you have my admiration.

Jockdude
Liked that! I sell logs on Jersey and deal with a tree surgeon here who is the climber. Need to be fit to climb all the time! I love it though. Good example to dropping a tree near houses.

loriusgarrulus
Fascinating. This is one of the jobs my Dad used to do when it was all hand tools. Still got an oak cot he made from a tree he felled with a mate at Shirebrook, Notts in 1948. They used a double ended saw then and a felling axe. Split the wood up into planks with wedges. FalconFN
Nice video. I noticed you don't wear gloves, is that to do with the climbing or are you just tough in Wales? Or both? Either way the sap from those leylandii must be a pain in the rear.

Or both? Either way the sap from those leylandii must be a pain in the rear. Just struggle climbing in gloves. Good video mate have you any experience of the oregan power sharp for an occasional chainsaw user Save yourself some money and buy a file, your chain will last much longer and you will get it sharper Wow what a video ! How many cameras were harmed in making this ? Glad you like it, I can confirm no cameras were harmed in the making of this.

.philmypower.
Yeah I no but the chains & bars are more expensive, you get less sharpens per chain and it's never as sharp as done by a file.
