Myhermes are good and cheap, but not sure Id trust them with an expensive electrical item for example. They arnt the most careful with parcels, all run with self employed drivers, some are better than others!

Although they are surprisingly quick at refunding any damaged caused!

use myhermes for my business and haven't had any issues yet. Obviously depends on the driver at the other end and no matter what company you use there will always be someone having a bad day somewhere delivering a parcel. They collect from an address or 20p cheaper from a drop off point. Have used parcel2go lots as well and have had good deals on there.

My Herpes-wot a bunch of half wits-had a parcel collected by them, recorded service, that went missing-when I rang to ask why they could not find it despite it being tracked the guy said "because its gone missing".

to a pinch of the proverbial you can say that about any courier service, independent or franchised. So far RM and in the day city link caused me the most grief with lost, damaged and undelivered.

As a business do you really want your customers receiving your deliveries by someone in a car with the back full of parcels?

In this instance it depends how large the item is but generally any of the majors will do it and the best way to use them is to go through someone like parcel to go,

my customers have a choice of couriers and so far Hermes is outselling the other options. I fail to see how having someone use their car full of parcels, a van or lorry makes any difference. The best courier I have ever used is UPS as they have never delivered a dented package but that comes at a price.

You don't think a tatty car and parcels piled up looks at all unprofessional?

Bear in mind also one I the requirements is to have a garage where you can store parcels. It depends what you sen but if you supply companies and the contents are at all valuable Hermes would be my last choice

Not seen any one with a tatty car around here delivering parcels. I would rather have a tatty car and reliable guy delivering parcels than a plumb in a works van tbh. One independent drives a brand new sprinter and works for a couple of multi drops around here. Either way I offer choices and if people have had a bad experience with one of the services I offer there are others including mainstream. At least the OP has it sussed one way or the other :-)
