triumphant59
Pick up my new chocolate roan cocker next week but having spent a week trying to decide on a suitable name haven't come up with anything that really takes my fancy. Any ideas?

Patrick1964
I planned to call my next dog Moose, but Ted arrived instead. I still think Moose is a great name.

Jame
Thanks for all your suggestions guys, still undecided but might go with Tosh Tosh was "so the misses said" an angry lesbians name out of east enders! Not trying to put you off but first roost shoot you bring her on mate...I'm going to remind you of that I'd go with "Little" as you will use so many common words after its name when training him, all off which are not repeatable on here I would get him home, spend a couple of days with him and see what you feel fits his nature. PERCE
I would get him home, spend a couple of days with him and see what you feel fits his nature. I don't think I've ever eventually named a pup the name we had planned prior to picking it. It's been the same with ones we've bred & kept. mick miller
Putting my pedant hat on for a moment… is it not a liver cocker (not chocolate)? I thought liver is the term used for spaniels, so liver, black, lemon etc. etc. Edited February 23, 2015 by mick miller
cracker
Fudge Yup, good'un - or 'Nilla Fudge for the roan, or Cadbury maybe best of all, with "Cad" the call name. MG
cracker
And, yes, it's liver 'sted of chocolate in spaniel description, but sometimes they "blend" for colour. This for example is a Boykin known as both "rich liver" or "dark chocolate" by breed description, while their cousin the Sussex is referred to as "golden liver."
