fruity
Hi all I've Been leaving the bunnies alone for just over two weeks as my hawk guy is on holiday so no outlet temporarily and I hate wasting them ... I've been concentrating solely on Fox's and have been managing one pretty well every time I go out, but this young lady has been giving me the runaround. I noticed she did have a set time pattern though but every time I struggled to get her to stop, and when she did no safe backstop (frustrating) . I needed to get her to stop I front the bank so Tonight I took the remainder of my tea, which was chips , sprinkled them out around 85 pace's and took cover. I see her take the normal route just as the light started to go , over the stream and under the gate and started heading towards towards me , I could feel the adrenaline building as she came closer and bingo, straight to my chips :)a satisfying thud and down she went Cheers

Sha Bu Le
A bag of chips, soaked in vinegar actually work quite well. Steve you beat me to it, I was thinking a strong vinegary smell would attract something, up here usually the toe rags that hang around in town. Not on the GL though. It's strange why they are attracted to it, but they are, and it certainly works.

WelshMike
I may have to try this myself. Do you think I could eat the chips and just use the vinegar?

JDog
The vinegar could be similar to the strong pheromones which both male and female foxes give off when the mating season comes round. At this is not the mating season the smell just might have that bit of extra interest. Was that the last fox in the Forest?

I think your correct jdog, I used old pickling vinegar and watched as she sniffed the air and trotted towards it , just inquisitive to what the smell was I felt
