Penelope
Whilst on holiday in Mallorca a few weeks ago the GF and I had a meal at the Caballitto de Mar (seahorse) restaurant in Palma. We had Cap Roig for main (wonderful) and the waiter recommended the wine. It was a crisp white with a Goldfinch on the label. I forgot to look at the name. I don't usually like white, prefer reds, but this was very nice. Done the usual google search, i.e. white wine with goldfinch label....... Can anyone help with a name please? Dunkield
I downloaded the Vivino app just for situations like this, my memory is rubbish as well. Mind you don't do what I did and demo the app by scanning a bottle presented to us by friends right in front of them. Turned out is was £3 from Aldi

Vince Green
Hope it doesn't turn out like a wine we found on holiday about twenty odd years ago. We really liked it and when we got back tried for ages to track it down in this country. This was before the days of internet and apps. Finally found an importer and bought a case but somehow it didn't really measure up to our memory of it.
