Evening folks. Here's a few clips from one of my recent outings. I left the camera in the bag for the morning flight, but I switched it on once the tide started to push.

It's the first video I've produced, so I'd appriciate any pointers. Apologies if you don't like the music - I had to use the wife's laptop to edit, so it was either that or 'Little Mix' Thanks for watching :good:

Was it a blind retrieve or did he see it fall?

A cracking retrieve and one to be very proud of :good:

It was blind, though he had watched my mates dog try twice before we got up for a go. She swam over the gutter twice but would not climb the banking on the other side. I don't know what was up with her yesterday but Rolo had to pick another for them aswell in similar circumstances.

Enjoyed watching that Wildfowler 12 and what a fine working Labrador you have got , as for the music

Your first photo of the sunset was a stunner , I often walk the dogs up to the river to watch the sunsets while my wife is watching the soaps , mine is far more entertaining with only bird song as background music .

Thanks for sharing .

If the shore line is owned by the queen how do you get permission ,sorry to sound blonde

Just try to catch her on a good day, I told her I liked her corgis and we hit it off

Jokes aside, many wildfowling clubs (including mine) lease the foreshore off the Crown.

Many thanks for the kind comments. Duly noted about the music, I will leave it out of the next one, or put a 'Little Mix Medley' on for SABS

Re: the retrieve, it was probably a fair way off from my hide, but once I was on it's line it was no more than 100yards back. I feel I must correct you all about the dog - he is a PITA usually  he won't sit still, his tail can almost always be seen wagging out the bottom of the hide, and he has a terrible singing/whining voice! BUT, we don't lose birds, and for me that is the main thing :good:

Mudpattern - I've never give any thought to belly up birds. It's just something I've always done rather than put them straight in a bag to sweat. I see your point however.

Magman - I'm afraid my guest passes are promised to some other PW members already this season. Maybe I could sort one for you / SABS next year?
