Wildfowler12
Evening folks. Here's a few clips from one of my recent outings. I left the camera in the bag for the morning flight, but I switched it on once the tide started to push. It's the first video I've produced, so I'd appriciate any pointers. Apologies if you don't like the music - I had to use the wife's laptop to edit, so it was either that or 'Little Mix' Thanks for watching Edited October 11, 2015 by Wildfowler12

Wildfowler12
Thank you! I will re-edit it when I can. Hopefully I can improve the upload quality too, as it looks rubbish on YouTube, but it's really clear on the laptop
voodoo2762
Its playing at 1080p for me mate, when you first upload onto youtube theres probably about 10-20 minutes where it goes from 360p to 1080p its absolutely spot on quality. shoot and be safe
Great video Todd Personally Little Mix would have been better That was a brilliant retrieve from Rolo for your mates bird Was it a blind retrieve or did he see it fall? A cracking retrieve and one to be very proud of
Wildfowler12
Was it a blind retrieve or did he see it fall? A cracking retrieve and one to be very proud of It was blind, though he had watched my mates dog try twice before we got up for a go. She swam over the gutter twice but would not climb the banking on the other side. I don't know what was up with her yesterday but Rolo had to pick another for them aswell in similar circumstances. Big Al
Great to see proper wildfowling on the foreshore. Great shooting and a super retrieve. Keep them coming!
marsh man
Enjoyed watching that Wildfowler 12 and what a fine working Labrador you have got , as for the music Your first photo of the sunset was a stunner , I often walk the dogs up to the river to watch the sunsets while my wife is watching the soaps , mine is far more entertaining with only bird song as background music . Thanks for sharing .

Grandalf
Excellent video but the music is just not required on it at all. Nice to hear the sounds of the marsh, dog, shots, etc. Perfect retrieve - Looked miles - How far was it?

mudpatten
Great film! Bin the music. Were the dead birds laid pale belly upwards and in full view of the incoming birds for a reason? Some excellent shooting and dog work. More please.

Wildfowler12
Many thanks for the kind comments. Duly noted about the music, I will leave it out of the next one, or put a 'Little Mix Medley' on for SABS Re: the retrieve, it was probably a fair way off from my hide, but once I was on it's line it was no more than 100yards back. I feel I must correct you all about the dog - he is a PITA usually he won't sit still, his tail can almost always be seen wagging out the bottom of the hide, and he has a terrible singing/whining voice! BUT, we don't lose birds, and for me that is the main thing Mudpattern - I've never give any thought to belly up birds. It's just something I've always done rather than put them straight in a bag to sweat. I see your point however. Magman - I'm afraid my guest passes are promised to some other PW members already this season. Maybe I could sort one for you / SABS next year? Sounds intriguing, is it anything like The Wash (Shep White's)? I do enjoy a good stroll
