BangBangNik
There is a 40year old tawney port coming into stores tomorrow(16th), £30 but thought I would give it a go.

Great value, and very presentably bottled and boxed. That whole aisle is Christmas-present-licious. LS

LS Made a special trip into Aldi on the way home from work today. Just uncorked it for a quick "quality check" and it is absolutely delicious. henry_o
I tried aldi's 'bog standard' port last week and it was very nice. Also bought a bottle of the sloe gin, tenner for 50cl. It's very nice too! The sloe gin was a bit harder to find though

Salop Matt
Such a shame that so many people's lives revolve around booze. Who said there life revolved around booze ? Every year I buy one bottle for over the winter months to enjoy with a meal or cheese board. Hardly a bottle a night or of much worry health wise.
