Underdog
I enjoy my single barrelled flinters the most, so much so a double now just seems for the most part a unnecessary burden. However, there are those times when one just wants the convenience of a cartridge gun so I splashed out a huge sum of £40 and got a classic, a Baikal, ejector too! I went out this afternoon with it, still shot lousy but used less shells shooting lousy Its slim lines and light weight make it a joy to carry. On returning home I found my self tipping some of that smokeless stuff into a few cases and loading a few hulls! Like the good old days before I progressed back to Black powder Anyway, here is the photo. U.

Underdog
Very funny lads😀. Only ever owned two super imposed guns and there will not be a third! Any way, these Baikal's are great for other tasks. Like poking the stove or levering a tractor tyre off a rim! 😀

Underdog
Hows the dog coming on hunting and is it ok with the shot to.She is fine with gun noise now. In fact she looks to see if anything is downed and goes to investigate. She will never be a retriever but will help me find stuff and does flush pheasants. Loves bolting a rabbit too. She is learning to return on call or I will come and get her! A little bit of stay there. She is also responding to pointing. This little dog was never a puppy but is showing some playful spirit now and I encourage it. She has been mourning the loss of her new friend tia and stopped eating. She is eating again now. Her size is good, when we come in she fits in the sink for a wash😀 Thanks. Edited January 11, 2016 by Underdog

Underdog
Two pheasant fillets wrapped in smoked streaky bacon and ground black pepper, frozen veg and a mustard sauce. Also in shot is a small wood pigeon and smoked bacon meat loaf with onion and black pepper. All taken with simple single barrels.😀
