Jaymo
Am I the only one who doesn't like the new format of this show Based Stateside and even Edd's tinkering seems to be 'cut short'? Although visits to the States has been incorporated in previous series, at least the cars were shipped back to Blighty It is only the second episode in the series but I do hope it gets better. bruno22rf
I agree - moving to the states has cost the show much of its charm, and talking in dollars whilst selling to your typical yank is pointless when trying to make a comparison in blighty - I also noticed that they are adding the man hours taken to restore the cars - 44 hours in the episode that I watched - add that to the cost of the restoration and you would be bankrupt in days. Much prefer CAR SOS now.
sako751sg
Never real rated it although worth a watch. End up shouting at the box as Brewer claims to have made £200 profit although Ed has put 3 million hrs labour into it.
Fuji Shooter
Saw the one from the last series in the USA which they did up a BMW 2002 Ti. The show was carp but they old guy who refurbished the Kugelfischer fuel injection was genius.

I watch them too mainly for Ed's bits but they must think we're all grotesquely stupid and as for Mike's negotiations skills, dear oh dear. walshie
The little fat bloke makes me want to scream. He talks to people like they are idiots and expects everyone to take a loss so he can make a profit.
shaun4860
The odd series is aimed at the American market and seeing as it's them that's paying the bills they have that right, I imagine the next series will be either another trading up one or back in the UK Still worth watching though
Mungler
It's turned into a cheese fest.

I thought I was the only one, I remember when they made a 'profit' on a Morgan even though Edd had to strip it to its bare bones and start again. I can still see Edd's face now when he realised JUST how long it was going to take to build. Edited May 17, 2016 by Ttfjlc
figgy
I can remember mike in another car show deals on wheels with a more knowledgable tall slim chap that was worth a watch. The shows now are cack, Ed China is always dumbing down and pandering to brewer, he must really want to thump him and put him in the boot. Flashman
The trouble is, they have run out of cars in the UK to tart up. They've done every type of Range Rover, assorted Panzers, (my fave) the Jensen Interceptor, even a Morris Traveller, so they had to mover abroad to keep up the variety. Yeah, like not paint a complete bonnet or rear quarter with aerosols Ed China CAN be good, supposed to have a good reputation, but some of the things he's done make you cringe.
