I had one, a lovely gun comes to the shoulder great, only problem i had was it shot a bit to high for me. Even changing the shims on the stock. There is a bit about it on the internet about that problem. In the end i made my own shim, and it sorted the problem. Easy to clean. I wish i had never not rid of it.

keep the rails lubricated.....

check the youtube for cleaning and propper lube of benellis, you will find it invaluable.

i use a automobile engine oil, for the rails and the rotary head, spring etc....

i had stoppages with 21g loads, 21g loads at 900fps.

after that 24g int. run very well.

Will take a look at those youtube vids thanks. Do you use a synthetic mix of engine oil?

To the OP: If you are new to autos like me and end up buying one there is also a youtube vid for assembly too I think autos all have there quirks in terms of putting together and the guys in the shops dont always know how to etc :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: .

If memory serves me right the Franchi manual also says min 28g carts thats as low as I tend to go for anything :|

Been pratice mounting and think I might have to put the shim in to raise the stock a little but will try shooting some targets or getting access to a pattern plate first before altering.
