Lady Seagrave had a good result at the Handmade Fair a couple of weeks ago, and is interested in standing at one or two other fairs before the end of the year. Sadly these days then tend to mostly make money for the council or centre they're in as the rents are extortionate. I imagine towards London they'd be even more. Wymondley Posted October 2, 2016 Report Share Posted October 2, 2016 Hitchin market. Proper traditional market, not indoor but has some covered stalls. Google "Hitchin market". Regular craft market days and a couple of crimbo' markets coming up. If you wanted to test the water, the market's open to car booters, bric a brac and part time traders on a Sunday morning. Get there early and pay, £7.50 for a covered stall. Always busy, even in winter. Plenty of places to eat/drink afterwards. Easy access from the A1. What about the one in Hyde Park the winter wonderland one.
