reggiegun
Well you couldn't get better weather than today, cold and breezy. Had a couple of the PW lads down today. Sparkie and Gingar, Fruitloop never turned up. Although it pains me to say, Sparkie shoot very well today. Couple of pictures of the day Edited November 5, 2016 by reggiegun

dob
Looks like a great day but can I ask why do you not have a no ground game policy on pheasant days, it's not a dig just curious.

Dougy
you have to get invited to turn up del boy Doesn't look that frosty to me Reggie Don't worry fruity your not on your own, I didn't get invited either. Let them sort play together, I don't really care much for fancy dress anyway. Nice to see Sparkie has some tweeds that are actually a match this time. I take it that Sparkie has a new "Stick" too it has to be in all the photos a bit like the mice on the film "Babe" Edited November 6, 2016 by Dougy

Dougy
Was meant to say First Looks like it was a really nice day, not a bad bag either. They flushed 3 Fox's on the 1st shoot on the estate I shoot on not good for my reputation . I am sure the neighbouring shoot haven't done any Fox control this year, that doesn't help. dob
We have a " No ground game except for fox and it is safe to do so "Thats not a NO GROUND GAME policy then is it , in my experience people get over excited when a fox bolts on a pheasant day and it's a recipe for disaster, I know you lot are going to give me lots of stick but I feel it's a little dodgy.I have seen people sent home from a driven day due to shooting ground game. dob
Not getting into handbags over it but in my opinion ground game is not usual place for a driven day but it's up to you boys if you want to do it.over and out
leadbreakfast
I wouldn't class a fox as game.
Dougy
Wouldn't shoot much then on a driven Boar shoot. Edited November 6, 2016 by Dougy
dob
The issue is not if fox is classed as game its wether it is considered safe to shoot anything that runs on the ground on a driven pheasant day !!!!
shoot and be safe
Looking good A nice start to your season and a reasonable bag by the looks of it.
E.w.
Very smart you gents are, on the other hand when I'm dressed for a day driven even in some expensive gear I still look like a tramp, that looks like a nice bag and I'm sure some good sport was had, best of luck for the rest of the season. FOXHUNTER1
I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a fox providing it was safe In fact on our shoot you would get sent home if you didn't shoot it
