I've treated my waders with some.just sprayed it on and rubbed it all over.

Kept them supple and shiny.Don't think it will do them any long lasting damage.I was suprised how clean they came up and the muck that came off on the cloth.

Renapur - bought last year at shooting show, its top notch stuff

I thought that was for leather.

Another vote for cheap car interior silicone spray.

It really does help to prevent the rubber from perishing.

I`ve used it on rubber thigh and wellington boots for many years and thoroughly recommend it.

Silicone spray is what the manufacturers will sell you in their can at a vastly inflated price, get it of the Bay - same stuff - different tin!

Yes you are right - the bloke selling it said it's as good for 'proper' wellies, however. I've used it a lot and it's great

Thanks, guys. I've just used some Auto Glym tyre treatment which claims to shine and protect car tyres. I figure if it's good for tyres it should be OK for boots.

I also have a tin of cheap dash shiner which I may try next time.

Yes, the bot manufacturer's offerings are on the eye watering side of silly!
