Big Mat
I prefer 24 gram, much more pleasant
matone
Used 26gm RC Sipe and find them ok in a 6lb o/u but a proper Ltwt s/s they may be a little hot ! I would agree with 24gm .
Whitebridges
Hull Cartridge do a lovely paper cased cartridge 25g felt wad No 6. "Three Crowns" it's called. Smooth a silk in light weight twenty bore. You might find them a tad pricey though for shooting pigeon. It's worth it just for the smell. I used to like the Viri 26g but won't use plastic wads anymore so use fibre Hull or RC

Continental Shooter
I was given few boxes of Gamebore diamond shots to test: they're 25 gr fiber #6 Al though they worked ok on decoyed birds ... they let somewhat to be desired on high birds using half choke For roosting i wouldn't use them, but i went through 5 boxes and they're clean and with barely any recoil on a Beretta 303 semi auto

I would be interested in those. I shoot the 28's in fiber and need to stock back up. 26's would be good. rick
escortmagnum999
I use rc sipes 26grm in my SXS 20 bore no problem, but 28 grm seem harsh, I'm sure you can get 24grm 6s, possibly gamebore? Maybe worth a try?
BrowningDJC
I use 26 gram 7 fibre rc ripe. The hull high pheasant 25 gram might be worth a try.

ChrisPCarter
RC Sipe 26g are good but as with their bigger loads they are quite sharp for the size. Eley Grand Prix come in 25g as do Hull High Pheasant. Both good cartridges.
dodeer
Hull Pro-Comp 6.5 shot 24 gram. Sadly it doesn't look like they are listed anymore
ChrisPCarter
RC 26 gram are still punchy for their size. Eley Grand Prix and Hull High Pheasant come in 25g.
