Lloyd90
How long would you leave something before putting in a challenge onPayPal? Bought an item on the 12th, not turned up. Twice now the seller has read my message but no reply.
sportsbob
No time like the present so do it now
Davyo
I think if he/she has read your email but not responded then I'd be on it irrespective of time scales. Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute. I'd say none reply to emails meets the above.
Gordon R
Act now - there is nothing to be gained by waiting any longer.

teddy boy
I've not had many problems with e/bay suppliers but let them know you are contacting pay pal, a resolution is quite swift afterwards. I never use any other method of payment now.
wildrover77
Just to defend eBay retailers. Last bank holiday I had people opening a dispute because there item did not arrive in 24 hrs. How did they expect it to with a holiday on the Friday and Monday!!!
sportsbob
To be fail Lloyd never said it was Ebay he said he paid by paypal and the seller has read his messages so it could be someone on here or anywhere else for that matter. I didn't want to say as it may be a genuine hold up and may cause undue embarrassment to the seller. At least that's what I'm hoping anyways. four-wheel-drive
I just bought something for my car on e-bay and found in the sale invoice that it was not what the add said so after a couple of questions they agreed to cancel the order and return my money I got the email from paypal to say that money was returning so why is it that it takes on time to take the money from you bank account but over a week to send it back even then it will probably be in my paypal account not back in the bank. ph5172
I placed an order on EBay from a trade seller, It took ages (about 6 weeks) to arrive and when it did it was broken. Not a problem sir we will send another...... a few E-Mails later .... yes its on its way....... its not arrived..... we forgot to send it out as we were testing it...... its on its way now.....end result was they dragged it out that long that i was out of the time frame to reclaim (i didnt know paypal had a time limit... obviously they did!) This was a couple of years ago now so i dont know what timescale they have now
