PetejArm
Hi, I've got a Browning 525 fix choke. and was wondering how easy it is to have it converted into a multi choke ? And can anyone recommend someone who does this in the North East? thanks.
bruno22rf
Not sure if it's possible as the wall on the fixed choke model looks rather thin - try Teague, if anyone can it will be them. Not going to be cheap though - be cheaper to sell yours and then buy a multi. Edited August 20, 2017 by bruno22rf
welshwarrior
Teague chokes near Gloucester is I believe the only one now. But it'll work out cheaper to sell your gun and buy a multi choke version.

One of my my Merkels was done (by a previous owner).
Gordon R
Get the chokes opened up to what you really want and save the cost of multi-choking conversion. Failing that, swap the whole gun.

Westley
WHY ?
wymberley
WHY ? As it's not al all clear, if this rather bluntly put question does not refer to the second part of the post above it, I apologise in advance, However, should it, then an equally blunt respose is: Because. fortune
You could Just shoot the thing as it is. If you put the target in the centre of the pattern it doesn't matter what chokes you've got fitted. On the other hand you can shell out on a new gun or having chokes retro fitted and Still have a load of misses

On the other hand you can shell out on a new gun or having chokes retro fitted and Still have a load of misses This is not really so - if you are shooting for the pot, full choke patterns with the target in the centre are not ideal for anything at less than full range. PetejArm
Thanks everyone, just looking at my options! Now I know a rough price I'm just going to trade it for a multi.
