viking
buy the best you can afford, and trying to find a private seller who hasnt taken his price from a dealer is a rare thing nowadays, looking on ebay for example, all the dealer prices are just silly, and if thats not bad enough there upon looking at them there pretty much all plus VAT which makes the price even more silly

Red-dot
I have read that these actually restrict airflow due to the front raised vent being the only one letting air in. Reduced surface afea.
viking
also put the sill cover/protector on, might of done it wrong though, think its supposed to go over the carpet/rubber matting, will look better when i get new sills as there is silver paint on the top of them . Jaymo
By the very nature of the original vents being subject to the Venturi effect to draw out air at speed and the new ( look closely and see the louvres are of differing heights) using ram air, therefore, they work in two opposing ways. One drawing air out and one forcing cooler ( bound to be in this wet n cold climate) you can form your own opinion as to which is the better. Me? I'm going for the new ones, after all- I've never for instance seen a car radiator fan 'suck' the warm air away from the core.....

R1nut
The drivers side vent doesn't do anything on a rhd vehicle anyway!! It all adds to the overall effect, they look quite good against the puma bonnet
Red-dot
Correct. Backlash is often the splined hubs wearing. Splines on the shafts tend to be harder.
