Dunkield
Having followed the advice after my first attempt at stitching here, I thought I had better have another crack at it. I am glad I did as I would never have been completely happy with it. God bless YouTube, and PW of course

fatchap
Nice work. I always dread making the sheath, I have hands like a bunch of bananas which is not helpful when trying to sew

la bala
That stitching is better than that on Walkers thumb
Dunkield
I have never used the two needle method before so thanks to @Captain Beaky for the advice and YouTube link - it is actually easier and neater than using the tool I was given. My next craft job is to make one from that lovely timber teamtractor gave me. At the moment I have one of those small craft vices which I fitted with wooden jaws. I plan one as a stool as shown on some youtube videos. Edited February 8, 2018 by Walker570

I 'made' one for this attempt, just two bits of offcut T&G, about 2' long each and put a g clamp across them half way down. Sits perfectly between your knees and keeps your hands free to drink tea and eat biscuits
TriBsa
Nice work! I thought it was a Codpiece until I saw the knife handle peeking out at the bottom of the picture. Edited February 8, 2018 by TriBsa
