deadeye ive
Well done Nick and i believe martin cavie is due some recognition as well .......so a big thanks to you both for pulling this off :( Top weekend ...........enjoyed the company and good to see a few more new face's that have now become permanent friends Compared to last year when everyone did'nt know what to expect and it took a few beers at night for people to relax after a day on the range and be themselves I was glad to see there were no such reservations this time and the crack started right from the out set Bisely is evolving at a rapid pace and I HOPE there will be a 2008 .........The following quote by Martin cavie sums this year up It was the first time in about 28years that I had camped at Bisley and I did say I would never do it again, but after this weekend I can't wait for the next one. PS Can this thread be pinned please Mods
henry d
I just got back around 7pm, and was a bit tired but a nice cuppa tea and I was OK. Big thanks to Nick for putting the time and effort in and making it a success I have to agree, and I`m sure W`n`L, LB and Lefty will also, alcohol and Go-Peds are a bad mix...............though a great spectator sport I didn`t see FM`s back flip with pike, but apparently it was spectacular. It was great to meet the old faces from last year and the new ones this year and the craic was excellent, the food outstanding and plentiful !! (thanks one and all). Snotty you excelled yourself once again, you`ll be getting a fair few Dental bills coming your way I imagine. Pin, you are a whizz with techy stuff but try and work on your origami tent. If anyone is in need of a pyromaniac, just get in touch with the Sussex crew and they will see you right A brilliant time once again I thank you all :(
Stealth Stalker
It was a brilliant weekend, everyone got on like a house on fire from the start. I feel like I've made a load of new friends Becky got some sweet loving from Ben the campsite dustbin :( There was talk of doing a winter Bisley, staying in the site caravans? I personally can't wait for the next one. SS
dunganick
just a quick word of thanks to two other guys who gave me a hand, Martin who booked the ranges for us and generally keep an eye on you lot, and my human calculator FM, gave me a hand when the numbers were getting confusing and generally someone to chat to about bisley. Ta mate. Also Pin and stuart thanks for running the stalking competition when i wasnt able to. The rest of you lot thanks for another great bisley meeting, i look forward to next year. Those of you interested, im looking at an alternative clay shooting meeting in about 1 months time. Watch this space. Oh yes and the food was great as well
Gully
Nice to meet some of you for 10 mins this morning. Did any of you go and shoot 4 counties? It was quite a trek from Bisley but the weather was great and it was a good challenging shoot. I'll be up for a clay meet.
Catamong
Well........what can I say..........??? I've upset my bank manager because I promised him a massive inflow of cash winnings dragged from Mungler & Pins wallets from the clay shooting on Sunday morning, but hey, not only that, Jonsey was simply unconsolable when I told her the good news, 'cos I had her as a dead cert for the Silver Medal.. :( . I suppose the only upside was the weather over the weekend, couldn't be better..?? On a more serious note, thanks very much to to Nick, who organised this event, I know you must be as hacked off as everybody else, hopefully we'll be able to stage a re-run soon..?? Cheers, Cat

LEFTY478
What a great event, it was good to finally meet some of the names on the site. Many, many thanks to the lads that organise it, please lets do it again, next year. But Pin, please leave the 'drunk slaying' scooter thingy at home. I have bruises. The weather that Nick managed to book for the weekend was perfect, the food and ale were plentyfull and the craic superb. The loss of Sunday was a blow but couldn't be helped. I suspect that a few weren't to disappointed not to shot sporting this morning.
Mungler
Well done to Nick, sorting things like this out is quite often a thankless task and so here's my "thank you". The cancelled shooting on Sunday was a bit of a ****** - we got there at 9.00 a.m. having been woken up by a text from LB at 6.00 a.m saying "wake up Mung you ****" and then one at 6.30 a.m. saying "bring bacon". Nice to meet you StuartP and HenryD, thankfully you both looked nothing like the pictures I had created of you in my mind's eye. Firstly, HenryD looks nothing like Hannibal Lecter and StuartP is remarkably thin for a man who works in IT and who does a lot of shooting. Gully
Thanks for your directions Cat. they were spot on. Not sure about 'skeet in the trees', more like 'far away in the fields'.

Good to meet you at last Mungler and I hope you get on with the shotgun. I didn't feel very thin walking along the beach on holiday, but PW do's are a different kettle of fish
wickedandlazee
big up to Nick for organising such a great weekend, in fact even if there had been no shooting at all it would have still been an excellent craic. I unfortnately/fortunately carried on after i got home - see my post in pictures section Am off to whitby tonight for some sea fishing tomorrow - should be interesting in my condition :(

Axe
Another fantastic PW Bisley meet well done particularly to Nick and Martin for booking and organising the event. Had enough food and drink to last me a week and it was great to meet up with new faces. Even those worse for wear on Staurday morning managed to get a good weekend in. Was a shame about the F & M spoiling Sunday, but no-one could have predicted that. Looking very much forward to next years already. Those scooters are gonna need bigger handlebars to compete with the Harleys next year boys. :( Looking forward to the pictures....great avatar Sparkie. Ferret Master
Thanks again to everyone who let me borrow various rifles and the cannon: Dougy, Sparkie, flash and his Dad, henry d and Snotty. Thank-you for the cracking food that I ate from Axe, P03 and flash. Also a big thanks to flash for letting me stay at his Friday night although it was very hard to resist bringing a hob kit home with me. Now I can't wait for the video of the U18's on the cannon. Especially looking forward to youngairgunner with 2 patches in it! FM
