sam triple
As above anyone use one if so any good, need one to clean my 20 bore as I can’t find a mop by itself without the rods
alastair0903
They are good, however. I still end up using a chamber brush before the boresnake and a rod with some kitchen roll around it to get my barrels really clean.
Newbie to this
I find them good for a quick clean, better than putting a completely dirty gun away. Definitely doesn't do as good a job as the rods.

spurs 14
I think there great squirt of cleaner down barrels pull through twice with bore snake and they are spotless , buy a hoppes or good make , the cheap eBay ones don’t last cord snaps etc
panoma1
Ok for a quick blow through at the end of a day away from home, but no substitute for scrubbing with a pb brush when at home!
Dave at kelton
Great on the semi auto pulled up from the chamber if you don’t want to do a full strip down

This. I have bore snakes in six sizes, .410, 20, 12, .22, .30 .375. I tend to use them for a final wipe through after a proper clean, except for the extra 12 bore kept in the gun case, which I sometimes use after shooting if I am unable to spend enough time immediately with the rods.
