Walker570
Listened to Radio 4 BBC news this morning and there was a short piece about the decline in hedgehogs. Farmers are to blame again but not a mention of the damage badgers do. If I am rightfully informed the hedgehog population in the badger cull areas down south has boomed since a few thousand badgers have been taken out. Totally fake news again from the BBC. Mice!
I don't doubt farming has an effect, but so does morden gardens and traffic, the so called experts will never blame Badgers. We get Hedgehogs in our garden, we don't get Badgers.

prem1234
We used to get hedgehogs down here but I've not seen one for years.....not even a roadkill one. See loads of foxes and a few badgers though. When I used to walk the dog at night we would see the odd badger coming in and out of gardens etc.

sam triple
Farmers to blame ? I’d think farmers would be glad to have them to cut down the slug population and no mention of how many are killed by cars ?
Leach
Don't mind the hedgehogs it's a shame they going down in number
