Petay
Looking to make the move away from my peltors to some custom in ears - likely passives as can't afford electronic in ears at the moment. What do you recommend?
figgy
I have both cens and pluggz I prefer the pluggz. There was a stand at the bss that were doing in ear at good prices. Can't remember who they were. Passives and some new digital ones for not silly money.

prem1234
custom fit guards passive at £99 https://www.customfitguards.co.uk/shooting-products You can go to them and they'll take a mold of your ear or you can go to a local place and they'll refund the cost of the mold up to a max of £30. Adrian Foster
I am happy with CENs passive (£99) but would not but their more expensive products; their customer support is poor. My next set will involve a visit to Custom Fit as above.

fizzbangwhallop
I now use the Peltor EEP100’s with cens mini tips..... well impressed having used them over the season when loading...way better than my moulded cens and the big Howard Leight earmuffs! This thread on the SD is worth reading.... a lot of knowledge in there and the linked threads... https://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/threads/deceased-ear-muffs.183093/#post-1702222 cheers fizz
The Burpster
https://www.ultimateear.com cannot recommend these enough , have blockers, two bike sets and one dedicated passive shooting set.
samboy
Iv'e had several pairs of ear plugs including Emtech and Mercury but have gone back to my Peltor sporttacs. I dont find i knock the stock with them but they can be a bit clammy in the summer. I suppose they are a bit cumbersome but i find them more efficient than the plugs. . I just keep the plugs as spares now.

Ray Ridley
Emtec noise breakers used them for years stalking just hung them around my neck on there cord and put them in as required, helps keep your ears warm on a cold day
