Raja Clavata
On top of RR at the weekend, McLaren Group announced a workforce reduction of 25% across their brand yesterday. Apologies if this is already covered elsewhere.

During the financial crisis Aston Martin were desperate to shift cars and were doing ridiculous deals if you were willing to buy enough. But I agree that they may be doomed this time. Like buying the party box offer on pizzas? Buy two get one free. Funny! I wonder how the salesman introduces the offer ... Can't do much for the resale value though,
AVB
I was speaking to my postman this morning. He was saying how busy they are. Fewer letters though but all parcels. Anyway, considering he comes into contact with many people each day on his round and at the sorting office, guess how many people he knows of who have had the virus? None. Surprised me. It's been pretty rampant in our local Royal Mail DO, one death of a guy in his 40's that I'm aware of.

I am guilty of working on Cayenne 1 in 2000 and I told them they were having a larf (I had done a year in 1990 at their styling studio), "no we really think it will sell", and sell it has, more than their other lines do. Then I went onto Touareg, Q7, Q5 and finished off my carrier at RR on the Cullinan, a right load of IMO. Rich effers will always buy to impress other rich effers. That"s the world. Absolutely, no one buying top end cars is worried about the resale price, if they were they wouldn't buy them new to begin with. 15 minutes ago, blackbird said: In my opinion Land/Range Rover will not be far behind them the days of big 4x4’s are numbered with the virus, diesel & environmental issues. Yes plenty of lads in their 20’s driving around in new Range Rovers on PCP’s at the moment but very soon many many of those lads will be without a job. Probably not, yes some industries are going to take a hit, but many many are going to go back to work.

I've thought about my response and your right, but the government can't afford to have millions of extra unemployed, I'd hazzard a guess they are giving loans to companies such as LRJ at very competitive rates, so why would they not ask? While industries like aviation are going to take a really big hit, people will still drive, builders are building and people will want what they had before.
