team tractor
I went exploring with my big girl yesterday. I used to go to a local spot and scrape the embankment around 25 years ago . I showed my daughter and we returned with a load of clay . 2 hours later and we’d returned home and had a go at making a few bowls and a little jug for her grandma. Farmboy91
Great stuff 👍 We get a fair bit of clay in the soil here, my boy loves making shapes and letting it set in the sun. Simply can't beat the simple things.

Diver One
I used to do this with my dad back in the early sixties. A favourite method was to roll out loads of sausages about size of a Biro. Use the coils to build up a shape and then either leave 'ribbed' or smooth down with the back of a spoon. They were then baked in the Aga. Made a hell of a mess if it was a 'sealed' item we made when it exploded keep up the good work....it's the simple things

figgy
Takes me back to the 1970's Much more fun than proper modeling clay and all the tools, your expected to turn out good objects then. Bank clay and oven much more fun. Make a potter's wheel and have more fun.
