Ultrastu
Got my first box today and decides to try them in the fx wildcat ..it was super duper windy today .so set up in a barn at 35 yds .i didnt expect great things as this is a mk1 wc.with a smooth twist BARREL ,no liners here First 8 pellets made this hole to say im pleased and very pleasantly suprised is an understatement. Those are 10 x15 mm " circles " so id say thats an easy 1/2 inch group at 35 yds . They shot at 830 ish fps over the chrono for 40 fpe (a bit lower in energy and 50 fps slower than jsb kings ) Looking forward to a longer range test without a hurricane blowing . Mice!
Nothing wrong with that Stu, so long as they perform at range. It's a fair hollow point, doesn't look like they should be stable or fast having such a large part missing, but I bet they expand well? figgy
If what they say is true, the group you get stays the same at distance. It's a cracking match to your wildcat.
rapid .25
I tried them in .22 used them in my fac stealth and to say I was pleased with the results would bean understatement, they are super accurate.
villaman
Tried .22 out of my FAC fx crown and at 100 yards and not good , specially at over 15 p per shot . i will keep to H&N slugs 21 gr
scouser
15 p a shot, no thanks.
figgy
Villaman have you tried the other size in the hybrids? .217 or .216 whichever way round you tried. Could make all the difference.

Longbower
I used JSB Knock out slugs at 38 yards , from my BSA R10SE FAC .22 , running at 30ft/lbs. I was very impressed with both the accuracy and the hitting power .
figgy
Villaman all the ones I've seen lately are .217" I remember FX saying they would be two sizes. Some other makes have three sizes as they can make all the difference.
villaman
I don’t care what size they do , I am not paying £15 per hundred ,when H&N slugs work out at £11 per 200 and with in 25 mm group at 100 yards and taken 100’s of rabbits at 100+ yards with them . iI can buy 150 rounds of .22lr ammo cheaper than the over rated , over priced, over hyped FX slugs, in fact they don’t even make them but got into bed with ratsniper in the states
figgy
I totally agree the price is stupid. As much as shotgun cartridges. Less lead and components for a little slug.

As you say, more money than decent.22 rimfire ammo. How does that add up🤔
shootgun
Still trying the FX hybrids in my .25 Wildcat MK3 FAC, and so far they are rubbish... Started at 840 fps all the way to 945 fps and still no joy...
Ultrastu
I did more tests on a calmer day out to 120 yds .the jsb kings beat the hybrids for accuracy at all ranges . The slugs did drop less but the group sizes were larger .the kings driffed more in the wind but it was predictable . I will be sticking with pellets in my gun . shootgun
Got really frustrated today and tuned down my Wildcat to 915 fps, and i'm getting 1/4 inch groups at 50 meters with the JSB Kings. the JSB Hades weren't far behind so i'll stick with those... Still got 300 FX Hybrids left though... 😐
villaman
You will have a job to beat JSB mk2 33.9 gr pellets . I have these running @ 70 ftlbs reg pressure 125 , power wheel on one and line 3 on my impact
