London Best
Whatever made you think it was sensible to store cartridges in a shed?
strimmer_13
Should be fine to fire, just a general look should tell you a lot, are they rusty, moist/damp, cold? Mind you I've used cartridges I've found in milking parlours which were destined for the bin and they fired fine when left to dry out Most of my carts are stored in the garage and left near the rad on a Fri night if I'm going on a Sunday
TIGHTCHOKE
I would suggest it is more likely the cold than dampness with modern cartridges.

Scully
You can stick cartridges on the fire to warm them up if you like, but the result is less than spectacular. Ppphhhhffffttttt! 🙂
