Gordon R
Leaving aside the excellent asthetics or your work, it always looks very sturdy - not flimsy. In short, it looks built ot last.

I think the difference is we try not to skimp on sections. the round is 56mm thick as against 44mm standard with 110 mm stiles (90mm standard) but then again that door and frame at the top is £2500-3000 . I’m fortunate to be the last joinery company in our area for 30 miles and we have a lot of nice properties in the area . Gordon R
My eldest owned Butterworth Barn at Brinscall, some years ago, rebuilt in 1991 for a Wigan Rugby League player - Andy Goodaway? It had an arched doorway with a replacement door, which bordered on flimsy. I look at your work and it is exactly what that property demanded. The door was replaced, but never truly secure in my book. He owned a few properties at the time, broke up with his other half and moved on. When i pass it, I always wonder if they new owners got a decent door. Edited December 5, 2021 by Gordon R

Gordon R
They split up a few months after buying it. Excellent inside, but the door was so badly fiited that a screwdriver would have opened it. Looking out from that door, after the garden ended, there is a large meadow and a decent size wood after that. We were at a barbecue and his ex said to her father that she wanted the adjoining land for her birthday. From memory, it is owned by the Water Board. He told her to get a price from them and she could have it. More money than sense. I fancied the meadow and the wood, but was happier when they split.
