A lot of these foiled ‘right wing terror plots’ involve arresting young white males each on the spectrum and who have done something in their bedrooms like try and hack a government network or download the anarchists cook book off the internet.

There’s an ideological score sheet to consider; in the uk alone, on one side we’ve got blown up tube trains, buses, an Ariana Grande concert, a beheaded fusilier etc. Then we have the ideological far left and if we’re adding up their damage we need to factor in probably a billion pounds of grid locking London, May Day riots, crippled road network infrastructure, strikes etc.

And yet we’re under extreme the threat of the far right. Really?

Yeah really, when it concerns hatred for other people it becomes something different to civil disobedience and disorder and the active recruitment  of people to further the cause of hate is also abhorrent.  Alex Davies and Ben Raymond have been sent down for 8 years for heading a proscribed banned group, certainly an ideological group, as well as other members who have been building a pipe bomb, and planning to murder Rosie Cooper with a machete and one joined the met but was quickly found out to be a member of a banned fascist group.

While I absolutely agree that equally there is no place in society for right wing extremists, I find it odd you never post condemning left wing extremists or islamist extremists. Yet you will often defend and make excuses for criminals and other undesirables in life, yet your one of the first to post condeming a fascist or racist group.

I think Henry is actually saying it's OK because other naughty people do stuff as well.

I say that there is no place for extremism - either to the left or to the right. Go far enough Left and you end up on the right, same for going right - like extreme capitalism and extreme socialism)

Its like all those members of 'proscribed' Islamic groups like al muhajiroun , and it successors , numbering perhaps tens of thousands , and many times that in supporters and sympathisers , who had rallies and speeches outside places like Finsbury park mosque , could do whatever they wanted, often with police protection, as they preached their message of hate against the infidel.
Yet there are those that lose their proverbial when a couple of teenage neo nazis talk hate on facebook or twitter ?

The government wont publish numbers on who fought for ISIS then came back to the UK , perhaps they dont even know  ?
What I know , is that hardly any of them did any time for belonging to a proscribed org, never mind doing 8 years for it.

This society/government seems to have a pathological fear of upsetting any minorities, just in case any of them gets offended, yet has no issue coming down hard on any white faces who dare to question , or indeed discuss anything terror related.

Sun front page 22/11/15

Its an offence to possess a copy of the anarchist cookbook , or jolly rogers , yet twitter has active al quaeda and ISIS accounts discussing terror related stories and recipes ?

That’s all very interesting but let’s have a check of the reality and the extremist score sheet / body count. Let’s then work backwards to ascertain where the threat to life through acts of terror ‘actually’ exists.

I’m not sticking up for the right wing loons - they’re loons for sure, but seriously, they’re not moving the needle on my acme terror threat o-meter despite what the liberal media will have us believe.

Does "extreme right wing" mean pro free speech, anti EU,anti covid lunacy, pro agriculture, pro fossil fuel and anti climate extremeism, to name but a few?

I once described my politics to someone as, “marginally to the right”.
He replied, “yeah! Marginally to the right of Attila the Hun!”

Apparently,by the definition of some, I`m an extreme right winger! The term is bandied about freely but seldom defined. The failed German coup is probably the first of many, precipitated by the self inflicted disintigration of their country on the greens funeral pyre of the west.

Some Germans still remember the deprivation of the war and post war years, many more experienced it by proxy through their parents. Who could blame modern Germans from not wanting to experience the coming starvation, loss of freedom and economic collapse being visited upon them by their own government, goaded onwards to ever more extremes by the EU.

Have you tried switching it off and then back on again?

😉

No but it is part of the pattern of susceptibility of some, just look at the QAnon fiasco and DJT stirring the pot. Then the youtube (sandy hook) nut job who has just been taken to the cleaners Alex Jones, twin towers, illuminati, yadda yadda.

you forgot pro gun ownership/2nd amendment, the favourite tactic of the left is to disarm the population, it makes them a bit more compliant when the boot comes down on the face.

I did. It turns out it’s functioning perfectly properly and as expected.

In all seriousness, how are we supposed to get all lathered up about an apparent threat which by any measure and any metric isn’t an actual threat?

Want to talk about threat? We have tube and bus bombings, a concert bombing, a beheading, various knife and vehicle rampages in London, then the failed airport / maternity ward bombing. Well, that’s the list I just thought of whilst sitting down in the ‘small room’.

Then if you want to talk about other threats, what about the vastly under reported grooming and rape gangs?

Now then Henry, the floor is yours to set forth about this right wing terror threat. We’re all eager to learn and know more.

.
