Yesterday I went to the Tesco at the "Cross" and got a British leg of lamb think it was £6.50p per kg. This will be cut in half one for dinner and one for the freezer.

I went to Lidl this morning and got some vegetables and spent £2.47p. Half the vegetables will be used today and tuther will be for next week for either a stew or soup.

I could eat roast lamb every day.

I still have vivid memories of my dad always giving me the bone end of the leg of lamb with the bit of meat on it as it came out of the oven, many years ago.

That bit of the bone is no longer already broken these days.😋

Enjoy😀.

Nope, nearest to me is centre of town in the market hall 😉 not had a local butcher for years.

Its a great loss when allot of the village butchers closed down. We have quite a few farm shops springing up.

I bet you enjoyed your dinner though all the same, my favourite meat. Followed by Apple pie and custard 😍
