harrycatcat1
As a child this music used to put me in a depression because it meant school in the morning. Can you remember it?

enfieldspares
Listening in my mother's car on the way back home from Mareham le Fen in the late 1960s. The "Sing Something Simple" was always played just about at the railway crossing between Rauceby and Wilford near Ancaster. Thank you HARRYCATCAT1 so for me it was only associated with happy memories...notwithstanding school the next day! harrycatcat1
Isn't it funny how times change, it seemed a slower pace then. In fact I quite like the music now and it brings back lots of good memories looking back.

Westley
I had the first edition of a magazine called 'Tiger'. It came with a cardboard Tigers head which had a bit of string sticking out of it's mouth. The idea was you applied some of the supplied 'powder' (I believe it was resin), pulled the string taut, then ran it between the thumb and finger. It was supposed to create a 'roar', I remember I just suffered burns to my fingers caused by the friction, 'elf and safety ' would have e a field day now ! 🤣

Our first colour TV was a Rediffusion rental probably around 1971, my dad wanted to watch BBC2 wildlife programme in colour, push button channel selector that you had to get off your backside to change operate. Yes but the push buttons sometimes didn't stick properly, our b/w was a dial one and that was as bad.
