Your income might have risen by 350%, but mine certainly hasn’t!
In fact, I reckon my pensions are about equal to my 1990 wages.

Well no my income hasn’t risen 350% either as my total pension is now only £242 a week,I was saying wages in general and take home pay for working has risen 350%. However a pension in 1990 would probably have been just £50 a week,so up by similar percentage!

£22 an hour now, so 450%

what was the pension in 1990?

That’s a lot different to £4 an hour in 1990! (550%) Same job? Not many in the same type of job have seen that kind of increase in income..A single state pension was £47 a week 33 years ago.

When I started in 2009 a 1000 good carts were £120 and cheaper  clay busters were about £104, and a brand new Browning 525 sporter M/C was £1050 so we're faily stable , it's been the last 4 yrs that it's really changed. A used Beretta DT10 is more now than when new I think

That was damn good money(£4 hour) for a 16 year old then! I was 33,also in a factory and getting £3.50 an hour, about the best around here at the time.A 16 year old would have got about £2 if lucky!

It was an electronic engineering company, they helped develop the tech used in broadcasting digital media. they put me through 3 years of college, then made me redundant at 19!

Think it was 1988 was paying £18 a 100 for 7.62 ball ammo ,and surplus 9mm was £6 a 100. my wages as a sparky then take home £200 a week 38 hrs.

Remember having ammo on tab with the local dealer on range days. use to get very expensive he knew what he was doing !
