There was the Republican claim of evidence from Smirnov who turned out to be a paid Russian agent. He has been charged by Special Counsel David Weiss - who has overseen the investigation of Hunter Biden - with providing "false derogatory information" to the FBI about the president and his son in June 2020. The GOP recognised that there is no evidence and had admitted so and dropped all proceedings. There was also the impeachment of Trump for trying to blackmail Ukraine. The GOP have stopped pursuing Biden now their star witness (on another case? No idea) was a Russian agent. Regarding the payment above there is no evidence of this payment being made. I am sure somewhere there is a whole world of chatter on this but fact.
