bruno22rf
OK, So I know I may get some odd comments but Temu are currently selling ladies "plush thermal leggings" for £4 if you search hard enough, available up to an Women's size 18 (around a 38" waist for us boys) they are unbelievably warm when worn under your usual shooting trousers - think Betty Swollacks when it's below freezing. I wore them last year (I really feel the cold) and they are superb.

No different to long johns really, just a whole lot warmer - I couldn't go outdoors half as much without them during Winter.

I do wear long johns when sitting up a high seat on freezing mornings.

Poor Shot
No odd comments from me.. I still have some 'onesies' from when they were popular loungewear a few years back. I wear them under a hoodie and jeans when clay shooting or under my formal attire when shooting game in the winter months. Means that you can keep the overall thickness of your clothing quite thin which is great as thick and cumbersome upper body layers can restrict movement and hinder shooting and affect gun fit. They keep me really warm, sometimes too warm and can be picked up for pennies in charity shops or online.

I can feel your reluctance regarding ladies leggings but for me my Bra and Panties are far more potentially embarrassing 😀.

I'm getting a bit worried about bruno, as last week he wanted to put me across his knee 😂.

It's 2024, if someone pokes fun at your bra and panties then just call them a bigot, write to the daily mail and get them cancelled. If they do it in the form of a Tweet then the Labor party will have them imprisoned.

Westley
Zerofit base layers for me, the thinnest, warmest base layers that I have owned.

In the army we used to wear tights under our combats in winter. On night exercise, responding to a call of nature out of my trench, we were attacked by Gurkha's. My tights separated at the knees and legs as I scrambled to get back to cover. For three days I had the remains of the tights attached to different parts of my legs and still connected at the waist 🤣
HantsRob
I started running (jogging? plodding?) last winter, and felt daft going to buy running leggings from SportsDirect. I now love my UnderArmour leggings for under trousers in the winter months. Embrace the leggings. Although I prefer to call them compression trousers rather than leggings! hah
Aled
Cycling leggings are very comfortable and warm when worn as a base layer whilst wildfowling or winter fishing.
London Best
I will admit to trying ladies tights for warmth when wildfowling many years ago. Just the once, you understand! It never happened again because it just didn’t ’feel right’.
