TIGHTCHOKE
This week I have mainly been getting scam calls that say my Chinese visa is invalid. I suppose they do get people to press 1 and pay for a premium call or worse.

TIGHTCHOKE
I just block each number after they ring off. It is strange that I have gone from getting lots of female African voices who are never keen to answer my questions to now getting recorded Chinese women trying to con me about a non existent visa. All the time these scrotes are bothering me, an old person who may well respond to their requests is left alone. As we have said in the past, unfortunately some people are giving away personal information which the scammers can use, OR it would stop. TIGHTCHOKE
Just answered my phone to get a recording of a Chinese woman telling me my phone will be cut off immediately if I don't press 1. Number blocked and I wait to see if my phone goes quiet, it will at least prevent all the scam calls.

oowee
Unfortunately a lot of this comes from machine generated numbers. You can block all you like and another random number is generated. Not sure what the answer is as getting a new number would be a right PITA and probably come with it's own nuisance calls.
30-6
Just waste their time. Surprising how long you can keep them on the line while you try to catch your escaped parrot which is ripping the wallpaper off while perched on the curtain pole. Just have to apologise now and again for keeping them waiting while trying to help you. Try it, lots of shouting in the background helps. TIGHTCHOKE
All of my recent scam calls are pre-recorded and just want you to press a number on your keypad which I presume leads to you paying for a "premium" rate call, or worse. I've had two calls today with recorded messages saying they will cut off my amazon account and take £71 from my account if I don't press
