FlyingPenguin
Hello, A good seven years ago we were offered this Parker Hale to purchase as something to start shooting with. All I know is that it’s a trap gun. Just trying to seek an ID as to what model it is. Haven’t shot for a while so it’s not as loved as it should’ve be. Seen a few posts saying to get hold of Gordon R if anyone can get him to have a look! Thankyou in advance.

Scully
I have a PH catalogue from the 1980’s, will have a look when I get back home tonight.
bruno22rf
If it's Trap then it's most likely an 804, made by Winchester in Japan and should be the same action as the 101 but some were made by Franchi from memory, someone will be along with far more knowledge than me though. aga man
I used to have the same gun, and I believe it is a Franchi, at least I was told that by 2 Rfd's. Not a bad gun to be fair
TIGHTCHOKE
When Bjorn Waktare was starting out as Gunmark (now GMK) Ltd, I believe he had quite a few guns made almost anonymously to sell under the Gunmark brand that led to his long term association with Beretta. I wondered if this may have been what we see here under the P- H branding.
Gordon R
It is not the Winchester made 800 series. It is definitely a Franchi - Parker Hale 704.

enfieldspares
I'd say that P-H used all sorts. The side by side guns were often Ugartachea and some O/U may have been Nikko? Certainly Japanese as they then, at that time, had to be reproofed in the UK. I doubt P-H at their price point ever could have afforded Beretta and, at the time, Webley sold O/U guns made my Beretta. At one time full on engraved Webley & Scott and at another time engraved Webley-Beretta. Edited November 9 by enfieldspares
Scully
According to my PH catalogue your gun is a 704 Trap, made in Italy.
Westley
It does look similar to a Franchi Barrage Trap that I have. Check the tightness of the forend screws, before use. The back corners of the forend are missing off my gun, probably due to the forend wood coming loose. Does it have a ramped rib ? Thank you, but think I have one somewhere in another Price Western Accessories catalogue, but thanks for the offer anyhow.
