I had local people have a go at me when I said it’s a scam right at the beginning.

They didn't exactly look short of a few bob when they first came on the scene during the early days when Sir Tom first started his walk , a lot of people donated there hard earnt cash who were a lot worse off than his daughter , I wonder how much of her own money have she put in the fund , going by we have been told and the ( expenses ) she was charging I would have thought it was next to nothing , or even closer than that .     MM

Yes they didn't appear to be too hard up.

On the PLUS SIDE of the argument, absolutely all of the £39.4 million went to the charities it was supposed to.

On the NEGATIVE SIDE, she and her husband must have thought they were due some of the good old boys charitable income and started taking from the pot.

Quite a big pot if the book alone amassed £1.4 Million . I doubt this will be the last we will hear about this sad affair , I wonder if she got any money from the television program they done that included ripping the building down that she didn't get , or got the wrong planning permission for     MM

I can’t get worked up about this. 

Most private charities are lifestyle gigs for wealthy wives with nothing to do and fancy mixing with other women doing much the same thing. 

The money was supposed to go to the NHS, so if the family hosed it up a wall instead of the countless NHS middle managers, then who cares?

Why I do not Know but she was one person I thought was a wrong un right from the beginning  , in a way I feel sorry for her kids who must get some stick now and again , when I think of all the genuine people who I was brought up and had next to nothing and yet you could trust them with your life and you knew it was safe , I wouldn't trust her with my loose change . I think it's rife in modern day life, it's just not often vultures like these get caught out. 

I've seen some very nasty individuals being praised in the media constantly and yet people in the know, know them to be some of the greediest, self centred uncharitable people you could think of. They're just very good at PR and know they can gain from a gullible public. I'm suspicious of anyone in the media for being a saint, while there are many genuine case of incredibly decent, hardworking and charitable people, I always wonder how the media found out.
