its early days and the tide is turning

Very early days :whistling: and due to utterly incompetent actions of labour, the tide is definitely turning against them.
They are in a downward spiral, with Starmer doing his best fish out of water impression, and for myself, Im finding it rather entertaining :good:

EU and UK leaders have been out of touch with public opinion for a long time, which is why we voted to leave.
You could also say UK leaders have been out of touch  with public opinion for years, which is why we now have a Labour government.
Also, US leaders have also been out of touch with public opinion for years, which is why Trump was re-elected.
Perhaps therapy would benefit those afflicted by remoanerism?

The single market was always an illusion.

Most of the countries in the EU were /are effectively bankrupt and haven't got any money to buy anything off us even if they had wanted to.  And most didn't want to anyway because we don't produce anything they need

Lets end the millions of migrants coming from the third world to the UK as a result of Brexit. It's time for a reset.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/dec/12/majority-of-brexit-voters-would-accept-free-movement-to-access-single-market-uk-eu

Perhaps the most striking finding was that 54% of Britons who voted leave, including 59% of voters in “red wall seats”, said in exchange for single market access they would now accept full free movement for EU and UK citizens to travel, live and work across borders.

It is impossible to have a reset on something that never happened.

Rather than vote for Brexit, Trump or labour it's more a vote against the EU, Biden and the Tories. A vote against the status quo.
