JKD
Cheers lads, it looked great and HUGE at the expected time, so opened the oven door and,,,, deflation 😆 Only slightly, but it could have handled a further 5 minutes. Live and learn 🤭

Thank you 🙄 🤣 Only my third YP, and to be fair, when the time was up I looked through the glass oven door and it was HUGE. Gave it 5 more minutes while doing the gravy and then took the toad out and it went like that,,,, hmphhh 😏 Probably got the mix slightly wrong 🤦♂️

Yes, it was just smoking. I'll fine tune things next time,,,, I know it's only a YP, but it's quite enjoyable making and eating it 😆
Jonty
For a third attempt that looks superb. Don’t worry about the softer bottom bit, in a dish that size where you don’t have much space between the bangers you’ll never get it to crisp/rise like the outer pieces of the pudding - you’d need to use bigger dish to achieve that. Also, (my own opinion only) think you get better results with a metal dish as it transfers the heat more. That said, I think it looks great and I would happily scarf it all up - including that third sausage you’re obviously hiding!

Cheers Jonty, appreciate that 👍 I think the mix was too eggy 🤷♂️ Might have to buy a suitable tin methinks, as I'm rather enjoying my new found skill And that 3rd sausage, with attached YP, I'm having for today's lunch
JKD
@Jonty Quick question if I may,,,, What size tin would you recommend ? It'll be just for myself, so don't want anything too big, but not too small either. 200mm x 250mm ok ? Depth ?
