Me and the wife went a few years ago we went with jet 2 .we booked trips with the hotel we stayed depending on how long you are planning to go we stayed for 3 nights .The hotel we stopped at was in front of the Jewish quarter and was a 10 minute walk to the square. It was snowing when we visited auschwitz and berkanau so we had coats hats gloves on so I personally felt for the poor souls who had been murderd and tortured .the salt mines are worth a visit too hope this helps

Fly to Krakow and take a tour from there.
Make sure you book the tour in advance as they are limited to ‘x’ amount of people.

There are also as a side note, two shooting ranges in Krakow ( both pricey) as well as some of the best Pierogy restaurants too ( traditional Polish dumplings).

You Sir, are correct in your assumptions.
Cheap, super tasty and fattening- just love them and Poland is becoming one of my fav destinations.

Poland is appearing to be a popular tourist destination, good weather [dry summers and cold winters] and inexpensive

There is a guy st my work who denies the holocaust ever took place. Even in the face of all evidence he denies it.....

Not sure I would want to visit, I imagine it would be very emotional.

It is and due reverence is paid.

I and my eldest son have been, it should be compulsory.

Went last year with missus. Krakow easily the prettiest/ cleanest place we ever been too. We did the camps...standing inside the gas chamber was overwhelming tbh. Highly recommended

And as for those idiots who deny it.....***....

I'm sure I wouldn't be able to endure it. The films of the dead in mass graves and the written word of survivors....is enough for me
