Old Boggy Posted yesterday at 01:17 Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:17 (edited) This ruling obviously no longer exists but is still printed. I thought the idea was to stop the forum being used as a ‘free version of e-bay to all comers’. Clearly I am wrong. bruno22rf Posted yesterday at 06:53 Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:53 I agree, bad form and bad practice IMO, one of the many benefits of being a forum member is getting a "feel" for a fellow member and thus gaining more confident should you want to buy an item offered for sale.50 meaningful posts or having a forum member that can vouch for you would be my suggestion. Good morning Chris, It’s good to welcome newcomers to this great forum in the hope that they will contribute or learn from the others experience, but as you rightly say, bad form to offer guns for sale as a first post. kevin55
Members with over 100 posts can now sell 2 used items per month in each of the classifieds sections. From Flyfishing.co.uk
button
I don’t see what the issue is, buying anything unseen is a risk, I got scammed by a member on here despite doing all the checks and let’s be fair there are a number of members only seem to post sales threads and contribute nothing else

Also a lot of people just aren’t life’s forum posters. I know a couple of people in real life, who have accounts on here but “can’t be bothered with all the drama” and come on here to buy/sell things. It has about 3 times less members than another air gun forum because of draconian rules, OCD mods and their sycophants. A lot of people have better things to do than think up 50 posts just to show they are genuine shooters. I'd say maybe 5 or 10 meaningful posts would suffice. This! 100%. If someone has been on here a while...or even too long for their own good...at least you do get that feel for their integrity.
