NeXTGen
Ostrich, An apple "crumble" that wasn't, and became known as apple surprise, the surprise was that it was vaguely edible, Chocolate covered ants, Fermented fish pie (in Sweden), Mint and Clove soap. It looked tasty and was all natural food grade.... What is it about apple crumble that makes it variable in the extreme?

ziplex
Thursday we had some nice sirloin steak, made some lovely home made chips, garlic mushrooms/peas which were wonderful and an attempt at a pepper sauce by the wife...........................it was awful!, and yes I told her so. Other than that Aligator which I thought was very good and i've now a strange addiction to truffle oil that HD suggested a long time ago, can't have scrambled eggs without it. How weird is that!! YUK i eat every thing, but it nice to know its boosting my health... & well being .yum yum.. you are what you eat !! You need to leave pike in salted water for a day to get the best taste out of it. Nothing bigger than 10lb fish though. Jacks or male pike only go to about 15lb max anything bigger is a female.
