spider72
Well.... Spider is my nickname from a place I worked at (a character in a sitcom with the same surname) and the 72 is... the age my dad (best friend and shooting/fishing teacher) went to the great hunting grounds (I won't say in the sky cos I'm not sure he went up!) where I hope he is making a huge dent in the population of whatever takes his fancy!!! Good aim to all and tight lines if you fish too !!
jimmy_lazers
Mine's from a once-mentioned character in the original Mighty Boosh BBC radio show. No real significance, its just a name that other people rarely pick, for obvious reasons...

Delbert
Mine is related to my forename I got it changed by a farmers wife (an old friend) and you do not argue with farmers wives if you value your shooting or bacon butties and steaming mugs of tea when there is deep snow on the ground. ForeignGadger
My mother is French, my Dad was a Yorkshireman. My first name is Jacques. When I played darts for the local pub, no-one could ever spell it correctly, (especially after a few warm-up bevvies), so they nick-named me ForeignGadger or FG for short. I can't shake it off. rubble without a cause
Well because I erm apparently look like Barny Rubble, don't see it myself and I rant about a lot of things, mainly new rules which prevent you from living life responsibly but I am too lazy to actually do something purposeful about it. I also used to ride bikes (Before Common sense kicked in). So my Wife bought me a t-shirt with 'Rubble without a cause' and Barny riding a motor bike on it and it has stuck.
