Im now on day 129 since my application was put in. Good news is ive had the interview and they expect my license to be with me within 2 weeks! About time!

Turns out that wasn't my interview! I had an FEO visit yesterday and she was very pleased. Hopefully only a couple of more weeks! Today will be day 150 since my application went in!

And they are expecting us to pay a lot more for our tickets it should be less with this kind of service...:no:

Glad I'm with Cleveland when i first applied for my shotgun cert about 12 years ago it took 4 weeks and then my FAC took only just over 4 weeks.

Variations are usually done with in 48 hrs my last 2 were only drop in one day pick up the next.. :good::good:

If this is going to be the longest post on the internet regarding license application should we not
Just simply follow the format and then chat under it if necessary . ???
Sorry to sound abrupt but this matters to people who is applying for licenses and they
want to know the details from different licensing authorities! It sort of helps them in their wait.
Please help.
See post below as a template that can be copy and pasted into any post made.
Just add your little bits.
Thanks Steve Henderson.

Police Force: Durham

Posted: Nov 2013

Confirmation: None

Interview: (FEO at Home) Early Dec 2013

Passed without a problem (for the second time)

Both FEO's were 110% happy with my son as are his 4 clubs, he's now been shooting for over 8 years.

Interview: (Chief Inspector Ball at Station) May 15th 2014

Still not heard anything from Durham following the intervew.

BASC have talked to C.I Ball (head of Firearms above FLM following the IPCC report after the Atherton/Horden shootings) several times.

He says he wants my son to be more independent, other SGC/FAC holders in Durham with Aspergers are either married or have a job!!!.

Received Grant: -----------------

Total Weeks: 34 (So Far)

Believe me, moving house again is something I'm seriously considering just to get away from Durhams ineptitude.

Just sent an email asking them to give us a written statement of the applications current status and exactly what C.I. Ball requires my son to do in order to meet his requirements for the grant.
