Sprinter
Just purchased 1000 gamebore clear pigeon, upon opening the first box they are not clear at all they are green. Also the height of the brass is different and the stamp on the brass is different. They are however clearly printed upon 'Clear Pigeon'. So i now appear to own some green non clear clear pigeon anyone know what is going on? I have emailed gamebore for more info....... Wookie
Maybe they are only for clear pigeons. Or to clear pigeons out of the field.
garyb
You clearly brought the wrong cartridge! They should read Hull Special Pigeon

The performance of the cartridge will not be affected, and all other components remain the same. I hope this helps. Whitebridges
Green "Clear Pigeon" :yp: A bit of a makeover on the brand is needed. I bet they shoot just fine, but it isn't what you expect is it? Edited February 10, 2009 by Whitebridges
njc110381
That's no good. I like to see the bits inside! I used to shoot them partly for that reason (as well as them liking my gun and being cheap). I'll stick to Eley HBs instead, I like Eley stuff
Cranfield
I can't stand green cartridge cases !!!!! Being obsessive about picking up my cartridge cases, I will not use green cartridges. I even sold almost 1000 Eley realtree cheap, because I bought them not realising they were in green cases. Red cases are the best. Although I am using Gamebore Supergame Extreme at the moment, but they are dark blue and easier to find than green. Bleeh
It's a sad fact, but I used to buy clear pidgeon over the other pigeon carts, because they where clear, and I could ponder the workings of a cartridge while out in the field with little else to do. Guest topshot_2k
i only bought them as they were clear (and shoot well), cant stand green cases

The Duncan
I noticed this color thing too, went out on some land i have permission on a couple of days ago and noticed cartridges scattered around Even before I was a shooter seeing scattered plastic carts around pee'd me right off. I hate litter louts! It doesn't kill anyone to clear up after themselves and avoid bringing shooters into disrepute. I think we have enough people against us already. 12gauge
Bet it is a cost cutting move by Gamebore, still nice that they replied and the pigeons won't mind what colour the case is.
