  1. A few years ago i did a very basic search into our P.C.C. and his office ,have a rough guess as to how many people are actually involved in this non-position as of today ? one or two assistants along with a secretary maybe .Dream on this guy has a staff of no less then 28 people in his "team " from partnership analyst ( me neither ) to commissioning programme manager . Along with this years P.C.C. expenditure of £5 miilion which includes victim support and community safety grants . Now this tidy little sum would provide us with an extra 200 or so extra Police officers ,pretty sure i know where i would sooner spend that money .
  2. Always remember the first casualty in any conflict is the truth.
  3. Or a speed boat for someone who lives in a flat in the middle of a city 🙂 . R.I.P. Tony .
  4. Now in April this year the U.K. minimum wage will rise to £11.44 per hour . For a 40 hour week this works out at about £457.60 or in a 4 week month £1830.40 . Just how are pensioners suppose to survive on £1000 a month less then the minimum wage ? I know pensioners get various allowances and benefits , however its a mighty big gap in monthly income .
  5. That bitch "slurping " a pot noodle so loud you could hear it over the start line of a grand prix . Pray i never see you in the street lady .
  6. I'll take the Buffalo River slip please . P.M. on its way regarding payment / delivery details.
  7. I work on a refinery on the Humber bank, bloody freezing out there even in June never mind January .
  8. Now that brings back some memories from my boyhood . My old Dad along with many thousands of others who worked at the steel works used this exact bag for carrying their pack up and bits and pieces along with the essential tea mashing can . Like this one
  9. Saw one in York just before Christmas ,really really good and very innovative . He was playing an electric guitar through multiple effect pedals ,a simple keyboard with on-board percussion , a mandolin and a banjo . This was all connected to a basic home recording set up ,started with the percussion from the keyboard , then the bass from the same keyboard . once this loop was up and running he added various keyboard sounds followed by around six or so different guitar sounds through the pedal and then the banjo and mandolin finally some very nice vocals .Lots of children were watching absolutely fascinated by his musical skill and the way his song grew .To be honest it was one of those occasions when you thought you had been watching for 5-10 minutes when actually it was nearer 30 or so minutes of very enjoyable street entertainment .
