  2. 12gauge82 - on the money.
  3. Virtue signalling and forced teaming. That's not the proper Pride flag, that's the "Progress Pride" flag which "includes" brown and black for people of colour (in case they weren't included under LGB - a very racist decision in and of itself), plus the Trans pink and blue (forced teaming - trans is not a sexuality, it's a belief). The trans agenda is anti homosexual and misogynistic in the extreme. Stonewall makes money out of people paying to be educated about their new way of thinking. They are encouraged to do things like this to score "points" to show how compliant they are. Councils love them. The Police are the most Stonewalled institution in this country - but as Stonewall's hate crimes are just another stick to beat women and gays with that's hardly surprising.
  4. FYI,he's not had to convince anybody, the "suckers" decided for themselves that it was "real" artwork and therefore is sought after and valued according.
  5. Whilst I applaud the GTA and their action, the Met's action (which I disagree with on the grounds that they have overstepped the mark) has an element of sense in it. To hold one shotgun, we have to have a licence, backed up by medical evidence. I am not familiar with an RFD licence - as to whether the RFD has to supply medical evidence. However, RFD employees have access to multiple shotguns and rifles, with the associated ammunition. Why should they be considered less of a risk than an ordinary licence holder?
  6. Thanks for that - its way above my pay grade though.
  7. Expect better of you R. The thing that I find well funny is that in my professional corporate life I'm generally seen as pretty hardline non-PC and corporately speaking anti-woke. Refusing to "play the game" and being true to my principles is openly discussed in my year end reviews as a reason for not reaching my full potential on the career ladder. The only time I've ever been part of a trade union was a brief stint in the railways where it wasn't "safe" to work in that environment if you refused to join. Had the displeasure to meet Bob C and worked on the other shift pattern to one of his "wing-men" at the time, Mick Lynch. I'll just leave it at that for now to allow that first paragraph to sink in for some of you 😉
  8. Given some of the patronising stick auntie has taken - with good grace - I think she has been quite restrained.
  9. BSA mk2 Airsporter 22, this has probably got the nicest wood I have ever seen, the bluings is very nice to, the condition is very good if you want one for your collection this is the one, £350 please. Weihrauch Hw35, it's a very early model no safety catch, the blueing is worn a little in parts and not as tidy as above but still a very nice rifle, 22,£250 please. Pick up Stafford,
  10. I'd want him prosecuted if he painted mine, I don't care how much value it might add.

  16. Well this morning we had a positive report about trap shooting by the BBC . They did a report about the female trap shooters at the Olympic Games and it was quite interesting and explained the skill required. Unusual to get this on the tv , let’s hope they continue to report on the actual event in the same manner.
  17. I chose that range as it is where I can sit comfortable and it is around my friends bungalow, and one area where the rats are visiting is in an outdoor building, where 15 yds is the furthest I can distance myself from their activity. I am new to the Pard so experimenting at the moment. Dave-G, thanks for the offer, but I am all kitted out now.

  22. In the spirit of the title of the thread: Tried ostrich burgers from Costco for the first time this weekend. Found two in a bun with double cheese a little too stacked. More protein and less fat than beef but I still prefer a nice wagyu burger. 7/10 in my humble opinion.
  23. That could be misconstrude but I know your only jesting sir, enjoy your posts
