henry d
Decided to have a crack at a few rabbits thar are driving the farmer daft. I set up at the gate and shot one straight away and this made some of them move and I could see them better.I missed the next shot but the rabbit sat still enough for a 2nd Anyway ended up with 4,one for me and 3 for the ferret For those that want to know the rifle is a BRNO .22rf leupold scope.Me thinks it`s barbie time tonight This is looking from the roundel back to the gate, about 100yds. And this is the bag....

arjimlad
Nice shooting ! Was it with subsonics ? A short trip out on a sunny day is great.
henry d
Yes it was subs(eley)the roundel is deeply scarred from all the warrens and I wouldn`t like to put the ferrets in there as the roots and rocks would make it impossible to dig and you would need to excavate due to the slope of the ground. Pedro
Nice one H. Have you tried other rounds through the rifle and if so how long before you decided that Eley subs were the best. (When I bought my.22. the only subs the guy had in the shop were Winchesters. I've nearly finished them now and have just gone out and bought a load of Eleys. They look much nicer but I haven't had a chance to zero with them yet). The ******* rattle in the box though compared to Winchesters Hunter, what have you found to be the best for yours so far? P. henry d
Eley/win/rem....no probs.....cci Eley changed(a good few)years back from greasey lumps to something really special and I keep with something that works. My mates gun will only cycle wins or remmy`s so thats what he uses.
